Hey guys, a little about the J in JK’s Zoo Tales. I start this by saying I am still new to all this.
I was once a very avid reader, focused on Christian books since I was a pastor, but now I have been battling with staying focused on reading these days. At present, I use my writing to overcome my anxiety and past experiences as a pastor and counselor for years to concentrate my writing and help children through life's struggles.
I write zoo animal children's books and have only been writing for the past few months, but these months have been astonishing and an exciting new way to reach children again since this is truly where my heart is. I want to see my books in all kinds of places like Zoos, Mardels, Hobby Lobby, Barnes & Nobles, Walmart, Target, and Amazon: to name a few. I would also like to see my books in hospitals and doctor's offices; for example, therapists mainly.
I write for the animals, not just about them, in the hopes that the children can see the animals in a new light in such that the animals battle ups and downs in such a way that children can relate.
Just a little insight into who I am as a writer/author with the hopes that this reaches parents who desire to see their children overcome life's obstacles and help them to dream of a better tomorrow.
Losing a loved one is never easy, especially when that loved one is your best friend. Your loved one wants you to know they will never truly leave you. The memories you shared are everywhere; those memories will always be with you in your heart.
If you and your children love The Berenstain Bears lose a friend, then you will cherish Christmas Without My Best Friend also.
This book includes facts about Asian elephants: how they deal with a loss and the effects it has on the entire family.
The Illustrations included in this book are of the actual animals of the Oklahoma City Zoo and how they interact with each other and the visitors that stop by to see them.
I have exciting news about some animals that are finally out for the public to see at the OKC Zoo: our Lion cubs. I am looking forward to starting their journey in a series with these adorable baby cubs. They are three amazing sisters and an ornery brother. What new adventures and mischief are they going to get into as they begin to explore their exciting new world.
I close this by saying don't quit, don't give up, and don't stop dreaming.

Jason, I’m so proud of you and what you‘re doing. You’ve always had a heart and passion for the youth of this world and I pray God will continue to use you to bring joy and smiles through the reading of your wonderful books. God bless you brother.
